The Brief
Orlando Pirates carries one of the deepest supporter cultures in African football. The brand language is already loud, flag, skull, black and white, decades of inheritance. The brief was to launch the Summer Collection in a way that honours that weight without performing it.
The Approach
You don't sell Pirates with volume. The supporters bring it. We pulled the campaign down, slowed the cuts, and let the symbols breathe. Restraint as the register, not the constraint. Built for the moment supporters watch and wear at the same time.
The word legacy gets used often. Real legacy carries responsibility. It means you didn't just witness greatness, you contributed to it, you carried it forward. We built the hero film around that distinction. Not a launch, not a montage, a single statement framed for supporters who already know what the jersey means and don't need it explained back to them.
“The word legacy gets used often. But real legacy carries responsibility.”
